Tubular Heaters - Flange Type

HITCO’S will design and manufacture a tubular heater to meet your requirements.

Specification notes

Dimensional specification:

• Diameter tolerance: ± 0.1 mm

• Length tolerance: up to 10” long ± 2 mm Over 10” ± 2% of sheath length Minimum length: 250 mm

• Tubular heater with flanged or bulk head fittings.

• Pressure tests for leakage as per customer requirements.

Electrical specification:

• Maximum voltage: 440 volts (dependent upon diameters & lengths)

• High voltage stability: 1500 volt ac (cold)

• Insulation resistance:> 5 MΏ

• Leakage current: < 0.2 mA at 253 volt AC

• Temperature of connection head & connection lead wire: 500 degree F

• Wattage tolerance: ± 5 %; -10 %

• Resistance tolerance: ± 10 %; -5 %
